Welcome to Sew Peaceful
Sew Peaceful Quilting is committed to inspiring all quilters, whether experienced or complete beginners, to expand their skills so that they can create their own masterpieces. Owner Anne Hall has trained as a Certified Instructor with Judy Niemeyer of Quiltworx, and more recently with Jacqueline de Jonge of BeColourful Quilts. She specialises in teaching foundation paper piecing techniques to create stunning projects.
Sew peaceful ... a room with a view
Anne has recently moved from Vancouver Island to Bridge Lake, in the beautiful Cariboo region of BC. With her husband soon to retire (she'll let you know how THAT goes in a few months time!), they decided that a more rural setting would suit them both. Anne will no longer have a teaching studio, but will be teaching many retreats and classes across BC as before. She will also be working on custom kits, possible some online classes, and ... who knows! There are other quilting developments in the foreseeable future ... but more on this when the time comes!
"Methinks it is a token of healthy and gentle characteristics, when women of high thoughts and accomplishments love to sew; especially as they are never more at home with their own hearts than while so occupied."
Nathaniel Hawthorne, The Marble Faun, 1859
