Autumn is here, so it's time to start thinking about Christmas and winter projects, when you can come to Honeymoon Bay and learning some new paper piecing skills with the beginner project, or for more advanced quilters, learn to make Illusions, one of Jacqueline de Jonge's 2025 design.  Or just bring your own project!  Come and join us at the beautiful Honeymoon Bay for 5 1/2 days of sewing.  Anne Hall is an experienced Quiltworx instructor and BeColourful Authorized Teacher of over 10 years.  

We have another cruise happening!  Join Anne and Heather for 14 days up to Whittier and back to Vancouver.  Several different quilting projects will be offered nearer the time - please click on more info below to see what may be offered.  We will sail on the Nieuw Amsterdam, and we will be able to use the quilting room 24/7 throughout the cruise - even on port days!  You choose when you want to sew, and when you want to relax.  Experienced Quiltworx and BeColourful Instructor, Anne will be on hand to help, even on port days.    

By popular demand, experienced Quiltworx instructor Anne Hall has a new venue, and will be teaching at the Coast Hotel and Conference Centre in Kamloops.  For more experienced quilters with some prior Quiltworx knowledge, Anne will be offering to teach Luminary, a brand new pattern from Quiltworx over 4 days on 13th-16th August.  If space permits, they may be some space for some UFOs.  For total beginners to Quiltworx, Anne will offer a 2 day class to make the very versatile Desert Sky lap quilt.  Don't want a quilt?  You can rearrange your blocks to make a table runner and place mats.  You want it bigger?  No problem!  We can get more papers!  This introduction will include preparation of papers and fabrics, and several of the basic Quiltworx techniques.  

It's that time of the year again, when you can come to Honeymoon Bay and work on either the Mystery project, or bring your own project.  Come and join us at the beautiful Honeymoon Bay for 5 1/2 days of sewing.  Anne Hall is an experienced Quiltworx instructor of over 10 years.  For the mystery, a basic knowledge of foundation paper piecing may be beneficial, but I have had CONFIDENT beginners tackle this mystery successfully - because all the prep is done for you!  Anne will ask you a few key questions about your choice of colours, and then create a custom, unique kit in your choice of colours from her beautiful collection of over 400 batiks - you just don't get to see exactly what it looks like until the "reveal" on around day 3 of the retreat!  

This is an old favourite - the Vintage Rose Technique of the Month, published by Quiltworx some years ago.  It deserves to be resurrected in the intervening years between the new Technique quilts!  Anne Hall is an experienced Quiltworx instructor of over 10 years, and she will walk you through this stunning quilt, in a small and very friendly studio setting.  Beginners welcome, although you should know your way around a sewing machine and be used to making quilts.
